Comments
Comments: Weather turned out great today. Many groups were going for Isolation and have packed the trail down nicely up to the bushwhack. The bushwhack and beyond is just a bit softer and I cannot explain it. A mix of spikes and snowshoes probably would make the best experience (until the snow on Sunday).

The Engine Hill Bushwhack is a maze of trails. The best advice I can give is stay right at most junctions heading to Isolation and stay left on the return. Try to stay at the 3200 ft contour as best you can.

The trees are insanely thick at parts where the trail goes right through them. Protect your eyes.

The summit is wind swept and has some ice on it. We lucked out and got up there after the groups all departed and had it to ourselves with no wind. Amazing 360 degree views.
