What a day, bare booted to the falls, falls were awesome big frozen overhangs, wore spikes to go up through the falls, switched to snowshoes to break up to First sister, no one had been there for a while. Bushwacked to the top, stunning day, sun, bluebird sky, long, long VFTT. Imagine a lot of people had outstanding day on the trails today. Several parties headed to Chocorua summit, lots of people heading into the falls late morning. Just a special day. |
