Spikes on the way up to Pierce. Winds were not calming down. Changed to snowshoes for the cross over to Eisenhower. Parts of the trail were soft and unstable. A couple of snow drifts that were not a big issue. Mostly ice and rock at the summit. Winds were wicked! Went back the way I came. Switched back to spikes on the decent of Pierce. That is a solid trail. |
