Comments
Comments: cedar stream road was well packed by snowmobiles to where it joined corridor 140 and corridor 20 shortly there after. continued hard packed conditions all the way to pisgah mountain road/corridor 136. more of the same to its height of land in the saddle between pisgah and east pisgah. we were able to boot the whole way in the morning owing to cold conditions and the trail not yet being chewed up by snowmobiles. we briefly descended then took a line on east pisgah and enjoyed mostly open woods all the way to the recognized highpoint. snow was generally consolidated with only light breaking of the 4-6 inches of snow on top. we followed our tracks back to the road and kept snowshoes on for the hike out owing to trails being loosened up by snowmo travel. a bit over 24.5 miles round trip.
