Comments
Comments: The trail was well broken and packed on the first mile. It started to snow but nothing dramatic. The trail was broken, and pretty obvious at the beginning of our hike. They, there comes a light blanket of powder. Most of us switch to snowshoes. My advice is if you can use microspikes before crossing the river on the trunk if will be easier. At the loop only the west loop to passaconaway was broken. The east loop via walden trail was not broken. By the time we get down, the snow had recovered most of our tracks when we first arrived. Even if it snowed, it was a very nice hike and gradual ascent to the summit.
