Comments
Comments: Willey... just Willey. Good day to pick up this straggler which FP “needed” for his March grid.

Wore snowshoes car to car which were perfect for the conditions. With temps in the high 30s, snow in first (and last) half mile was sticky, then got much nicer and fluffier. Anywhere from 3-5” new snow atop a firm base. Ladders are completely buried. Trail is STEEP, but we encountered no ice, got excellent grip with our snowshoe crampons and had a blast buttsliding down. :D

We did meet two split boarders who had skinned up until the grade got really steep, then barebooted, so the upper half mile is chopped up pretty good but not deeply postholed. (They were planning to snowboard off the summit somehow.) O_O
