| Water Crossing Notes: |
A few open but step overs. |
|

A few step overs and duck unders in last quarter of Liberty Spring Trail |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw a few. I hope the black dog with yellow bandana around neck found its owner. It ran from me when I saw it with its owner on the way down. Spotted it further down walking with two gals, but it took off again towards White House (it was right around the intersection with the whack to the Basin lot when seen last). I left my email and a post on Hike the 4,000 Footers of NH on Facebook if there are questions from the owner. Would love to hear it is safe and sound. |

| Bugs: |
None. |

| Lost and Found: |
Didn't find what I was there to search for, gold ring belonging to a friend. |

A few, maybe 3 postholes from the intersection with FRT to top of Liberty, none lower. Trail in mint shape. Sledded on the way down, so it is smooth in the steep sections of LST. The Basin whack was not used since the last snow on way up, broken out nicely on way down. Flume Slide not used since last weekend's snow. FRT to Little Haystack NOT broken out.
Great day. Trail in excellent shape. Metal detector didn't find the ring. Please email me or look for the owners posts on the hiking groups on Facebook. Peace. |
