Comments
Comments: Our group of 9 had a great day traversing Zealand and the Bonds. The traverse has been very elusive till yesterday! The trails are broken, not necessarily on the original trail bed though. Look down for any of the trail signs that are usually at eye level or above. We accidentally bushwhacked to Zealand. All good though, we got there. Humped our way out via the original corridor. After Guyot, follow the ridge to get to the West Bond trail junction, then mix of trail and bushwhack to West Bond. There are so many tracks kind of along that ridge...Stay a little north of the ridge till the col, then head up along the ridge. Coming off Bond, bias your descent a little to the north and look for the cairns to hint at where the trail corridor is.

Face slapping branches were still present, but less abundant. I think most everyone who walked these trails this season has snapped off their fair share of eye poking twigs. Goood job!!
