Comments
Comments: Well packed trail. A light dusting of snow on top this morning. There are some deep , frozen post holes that are avoidable thank goodness . Some of those are 3 feet deep! Trail up the steep mount Osceola trail is hard packed and a challenge to hike down but doable with traction and caution. Steep climbing up and down made for a challenging hike. The chimney is totally iced over. A bypass to avoid the usual bypass has been formed. Plan to take a bit longer to hike this than other 7 mile hikes. It’s a steep one!
