| Comments: |
Two inches of new snow at the trailhead, increasing to six inches above the first ledges, with much deeper drifts in places. A few isolated icy spots were easily avoidable. We noticed one set of tracks that go off trail to the left above the first ledges, and climb the left side of the rock face before rejoining the blazed trail. With the high winds today, our snowshoe tracks were quickly obscured in places by drifting snow. However, there are many postholes from those who were barebooting. |
