Comments: brilliant, sunny day that warmed to 50ish. trails nice crust with icy segments, which softened as the day advanced. Significant dry rock ledge on open summits. most people with microspikes were doing well, although many bare booteres were seen struggling with icy stretches in the woods. new snow from recent storm negligible.
views clear all around, especially nice over the lake and toward Sandwich range with Big George easily visible to the far north.
