 | Comments: |
Road run up is covered in snowmobile tracks and kind of icy.
First 1/3 of Winslow is icy, but not bad. Spikes were perfect. No rocks or roots showing yet.
Middle 1/3 of Winslow is ICY. The steep section at halfway is absolutely covered in hard, thick ice flow--use caution here. I went up and down it with Piper the first lap, but bypassed to the left (up) and right(down) on the second lap. This section sucks and, unless you have super sharp spikes, should be avoided.
Top 1/3 is more packed snow than ice. Some bare rock in the areas with exposed slab. Summit bare.
