Beautiful day to be out. Initially temps below 32, but as time went on went up to 37 near the bottom. Toll Rd frozen in morning, but later getting muddy. Although a few bare spots on Halfway House, it was easier to leave the spikes on. Approximately 3/4 of the way up Smith summit went to bare boots to the summit. Suspect more ice than snow with temps over the next few days |
