Lost and Found
Lost and Found: One nondescript black glove sitting in the box at the trailhead sign. I retrieved a child's pin badge, Carlsbad Caverns Jr Ranger, with "F" written on the back with a sharpie. Also put it in the box at the trailhead in case it is some child's special treasure.

Comments
Comments: Weather ranged from 40-50 and calm at the trailhead to around freezing with significant wind and windchill at the summit. Naturally, the trail ranged from minimal snow at the start of Glencliff to softening monorail, then firm monorail a bit below the junction with Carriage Rd. Snow at higher elevations reached the AT blazes and signs. The final summit ascent had minimal snow covering the alpine vegetation and thick glare ice covering most of the trail to the final summit.

I wore newish mountaineering snowshoes in appreciation of those who worked out such a nice trail. Televators + aggressive traction, especially on the final ice ascent, was totally worthwhile (no slipping and no snow stuck to microspikes, no postholing). It's still in good condition despite some boots on the trail that didn't seem to make many postholes. It seemed like mostly the top few inches of monorail were softened by midday with the remainder holding firm.

If the warm weather continues over the weekend though, then it will likely roughen up and get all posty from the additional boots.
