Comments
Comments: Trail is in good shape as long as people keep using snowshoes. Barebooters are ruining the smooth packed surface with the softening spring snow.

The trail is in great shape. Hard packed but getting softer with the warmer temps. Butt slideable on the way down Avalon Trail at the steepest sections. Good coverage the entire way up. Except for on small stream crossing all water crossings are still heavily covered with snowpack or ice. Sign posts are still sitting just above the snow as are most of the blazes at the higher elevations and watch out for those treetop branches brushing across your face.
