Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: two walkover blowdowns, perennial mud pools up on the ledgey areas, spotty black ice on ledges and slippery ice/frost on the wood up high - a daydreamer like me benefitted from having a pole.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: The mighty tough little dog needed two butt shoves to get up the last ledges before the peak and I made him let me give him a lift down in the same place on the way back.

Comments
Comments: Fantastic day for mid November. Nice views. Hiked most of the trail in my summer clothes. I was surprised to meet only two others on my route and one with his dog coming up from the north. But since I would have hiked yesterday if Pepper hadn't had a porkie - dog interaction requiring a visit to the vet, perhaps everyone hiked then?
