Three guys from Somerset, MA left their traction behind. Too late to chase them down, so we hung it on a parking lot sign.
Thanks Apple Pie and Phillip for hanging Judah's missing bootie from a parking lot sign! |

| Comments: |
If you have Hillsounds or better traction you should be okay TO CLIMB UP the ice flows below Lafayette. Coming down Falling Waters would actually be a safer bet for descent. Wish we had. Wish we'd left our snowshoes home too.
Coast Guard member Will said snow on the ridge from Liberty to Little Haystack was deep and the ridge trail invisible. Expect to get your face whacked by branches. |
