Jackson Hill is a New Hampshire 2000-Footer and a New Hampshire 500 Highest Peak.
From our parking location we strapped on micro-spikes hiking south on King St for 1 mile and turned west on an unmaintained road. We followed this with some minor ups and downs, I strapped on my snowshoes and Mary stayed in her micro-spikes. Just about another mile we turned south on a trail entering Andorra Forest.
We followed this trail for just over a ½ mile and hit pond skirting west around it and started bushwhacking southwest in nice woods at moderate grade and soon hit the recognized high point. For our return trip we headed for the southern tip of that pond, skirted the edge of the ice following it back around to the trail and roads we came in on.
Nike hike clocking in 6.5 mile and 1100 ft of elevation gain +/-
