Comments
Comments: Beautiful day, barebooted up to where you enter the woods after the power lines then put on snowshoes. Broken out the trail from there. There were a few bare wet spots, some blue ice, and running water. Hiked up to the view then to the trail and little off where the GPS says the summit is but didn’t actually hit the summit spot but were above the elevation. The trail became unstable on the decent. Lots of post holes from someone that had a failed attempt in bare boots. Snow was breaking down and we made a fair amount of post holes through the snow in our snow shoes. Overall a solid day with views of the presidential and the Wildcat-carter-Moriah range!
