Parking/Access Road Notes: No issues with parking. Plowed lots at Flume visitor center.

Surface Conditions: Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable), Snow - Wet/Sticky, Snow - Spring Snow, Snow/Ice - Postholes, Snow/Ice - Small Patches

Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes, Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Several crossings on lower half of Liberty Springs trail, low water so easily crossable with rocks.

Dog-Related Notes: Saw one happy golden retriever.  
Bugs
Bugs: None. But a startled turkey scared the crap out of me leaving the Liberty summit toward Flume.

Comments
Comments: Recent snow hid but didn’t fill in many postholes. Lower half was wet and sticky, upper half more firm. Used snowshoes entire way to Liberty and onto Flume. Top of
Both summits had minimal snow. Good spring conditions before too much snow melt. At the cutoff going up Liberty Springs, it was clear the Flume Slide trail hadn’t been used in a while.
