Comments
Comments: Early morning hike up Mt Major in the rain. I put on spikes shortly after leaving the parking lot and wore them about 1/2 way up until it got rockier then barefooted to the summit. Did the same on the descent, but I could tell the snow/ ice was softening up already. The rain on the hard ice made some spots tricky without traction, but with the warm temps predicted later today and tomorrow it probably won’t be an issue for too much longer.
