| Water Crossing Notes: |
Water is rising in the brook crossings. Rock hopping required and high top waterproof boots saved our feet from getting wet. Water seemed to rise in brook as well as on trail during the hike. |

Met one dog along the way. Dog-friendly, even at water crossings. |

| Comments: |
Very slushy in parts and postholing is unavoidable. Standing water on a few parts of lower trail causing slippery mud. Ice in parts as well. Traction not needed until the trail reaches the ski trail toward the summit. |
