Comments
Comments: First time using the old snow mo trail about 200 yards up from the bridge. Easy and avoids the land owner issues. Bare boots to the trail head where we put on snowshoes. Found out quickly that there was lots of open muddy, rocky trail and running water on trail. At this point one went to spikes one bare booted, others just stayed in shoes. At the top of the hill on the Firewardens just above the North Twin bushwhack trail we all went to snowshoes. The monorail (appears to be from skiers) was mostly stable. We lost the trail in one spot so just climbed the hill to the next switchback. Better conditions than expected as the snow mostly supported us. On way back all but one went to spikes or bare boots for the North Twin bushwhack/trail exit. Great day with Karen, John, Ed, Lew.
