Comments
Comments: This was the first bare boot hike of the year for me. There was no snow and it was 99% free of ice. There were some ice patches, the biggest one about 1/2 mile from from the summit. You could use microspikes there, but most people didn't. You would only need them for about a minute. I didn't use them and didn't have any trouble. There were some wet rocks on the trail, but they can be avoided. The bottom part of the trail was muddy, but not at all bad for this time of year.
