Comments: Conservative Convenience Peak (Twin Mountain Peak & Carroll’s Twin)

Ya this peak has a few names. Anyway

From our parking location we crossed route 302 heading north following some power lines, At the railroad tracks we headed west for a short distance and started bushwhacking northwest.

I’d like to say in was nice open woods but …. It was a bit tight with lots of blowdowns, no so great footing that made for slow going. No biggie just got to keep moving northwest and soon enough we hit the recognized high point and summit jar that was just placed before we got there. We must have just missed him!

For the record we’ve never ran into someone on a bushwhack. Nice 2nd hike of the day after hitting Mt Jackson in the morning
