Comments
Comments: Quiet trails on Easter Sunday, we saw three people on the Blueberry Ledge trail. The BL trail was bare ground down low then spikes off and on , but mostly on as the monorail up the ledges was somewhat stable but beware very boney.Postholing 3 feet off monorail and easy to slide off the sides! Slushy snow , ice and bare rock up the ledges.Rollins trail called for snowshoes as the rail became unstable , we wore snowshoes to the summit of Passaconaway and most of Dicey Mills until the crossing,which was easily crossed by walking across the log. After the river we bare booted ,the beautiful dirt ,roots and rock showing, wet trail, water running down the trail.Tough Spring conditions made for a longer day ,postholing with snow shoes;
but beautiful high temps ,views and great company made for a great day. Thanks RS ,Congrats on your April grid peaks and thanks JS, Congrata on your #25 toward the 48 !!Spring has sprung !!!!!
