Water Crossing Notes: Easy.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The wet rocks, lingering light showers, and water running down the trail made this hike much more challenging and more time consuming than normal. The little bit of remaining ice is avoidable and there is no more snow.

Bugs
Bugs: Some small flying insects (gnats??) were around but not biting (yet) in the lower elevations. One large fly minding its own business buzzed by.

Comments
Comments: I've hiked this trail many times but it seems like this time was the most difficult, based on the weather conditions. It's usually a long but very rewarding hike that seems fairly gradual with some scrambles in the mix. Viewing conditions were good, with some great cloud formations.
