| Water Crossing Notes: |
Had to cross the first major stream via tree shimmy. Possible to rock hop, but they would have been big jumps. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Some blow downs, easy to get around. Trail near the end had a lot of sticks and branches scattered across it. . Take care following it. |

It wasn’t super fun. Started off good enough, but the monorail is super thin and was tough to stay on. The section of trail between the summit and the north carter junction was junk. Super deep snow still, and the monorail was way tricky to follow. Trail down was fine, but my feet were definitely squishy by the end. Bring gaiters and extra socks for sure. |
