I walked the 0.3 miles to the trailhead because I didn’t want to get stuck in the mud. Saw several smaller cars in the parking area that made it just fine tho |

I cleaned out several water bars that were COMPLETELY blocked as best I could - there were tons of blockages that still allowed water flow off the trail |

Saw one person with his dog, even tho they’re not allowed in Monadnock. |

There is deep, deep, DEEP water and mud on the first mile+ of the trail - like, wow! Wear your waterproof boots, people! Plenty of water pools in the rocky sections near the top, but those are easily avoidable.
Great hike, way tougher than some of Monadnock’s other trails, imo. |
