Comments: Pond and Sugar in Dummer
I made my way up Pond, through lots of hardwood regrowth. The highpoint is recognized. I headed straight at Sugar, but found that skid roads cutting further west were much better than the regrowth towards the col. I followed skid roads down to the road to the west of the peaks and used that to wrap arounds. I went at Sugar from the northwest, finding reasonable going. The highpoint is recognized. To return, I bushwhacked down to the deadend road east of Sugar. These were the best woods of the route. I followed the road (which is gated) and then 16 back to the car.
