trails were great, some blowdowns appeared to be recently cleared. There are a lot of dry slippery leaves on Overlook trail and it seems not many people have hiked it yet to crush or push to the side of the trail yet. Leaves are also hiding mudspots |

Great little hike in the Belknaps. Originally intended to hike from Gunstock to Round Pond, but a late start and too many tiki drinks last night had us cut this a little shorter. Only saw one other group on the trail, and had great views north of the Whites from the Gunstock summit. It was also great to not have to wear any spikes or snowshoes all day! Saw some bear evidence and found a couple of owl pellets which was cool. |
