Comments
Comments: rocks and dirt for first 1/4 mile to just below elephant head cut-off, monorail on and off for up to junction with jackson and webster branches, pretty stable monorail thereafter, summit is mostly bare rock and ledge. decent hiking conditions considering all the rain. many feet of snow remains on Jackson Branch. Back to car to beat most of the rain.
