Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: We parked in the lot on the right hand side as you’re driving down Baker Road. We assume it was ok to park here - no signs indicating otherwise. The trailhead was a quick walk up the road on the left. When we finished, a few cars were parked next to the trailhead, so you can probably do that if you pull off the road enough.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant, Leaves - Significant/Slippery

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: None, just a lot of water on the trails
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Maybe 5 or so blowdowns on the trail. Easy to walk over. Only one was high enough that you couldn’t easily step over, but it wasn’t high enough to duck under. Had to go around.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw many dogs out today
Bugs
Bugs: Very few - mostly noticed a few around the standing water on the trail

Comments
Comments: Took the Cross Rivendell Trail up to the summit. Totally socked in the clouds, so didn’t even bother going up the North Cube Spur. Trail started off quite muddy, then got dry for a little bit, then back to more mud. After the lookout/picture spot, it was VERY muddy and wet. Lots of standing water on the trail and even some running water. Overall, a nice hike with moderate grades.

A couple of very minor patches of snow monorail left, but easy to walk around - leave your spikes and snowshoes at home for this one!
