Comments
Comments: This was our 4th time doing this hike. Alway been one of my favorite half day hikes due to the amazing views on Owl head. Unfortunately the clouds never broke to give us the view. The trail was pretty clear until about 3/4 of the way up. We had to put on the micro spikes. Got to the junction and the snow was probably 2 feet deep still. It was stable enough to keep on the spikes. Patchy snow on the summit and combination of snow and bare ground over to Owls head. It was sad to see all the destruction in the woods from the winter storms, so many trees were down. We only saw one other couple on the trail all day. Still a good hike even though no views.
