Comments
Comments: Huge blowndown right after first bridge, branches galore. We climbed around because we were committed to the trail, but little doggies wouldnt be able to handle it. A ways up we crossed the brook accidentally. Then the actual brook crossing was clearly marked with an arrow, but we could have had to take our shoes off to cross there. We went up the bank just a bit to a better rock hopping way to cross.

The conditions were primarily dry and easy other than those obstacles. A ways up we ran into people who said the way up to the ridgeline was thick with snow that snowshoes could barely handle, post holing galore.

We only saw dry trail before we made camp for the night, and the weather has been good to us. We are told there is a beautiful spot to have lunch before the snow picks up.
