Comments
Comments: The monorail is degrading by the hour. What was relatively firm on our way up was often the consistency lemon sherbet on the walk out. Lot of post holes on the higher parts of Avalon and A-Z trail. Some bare rock on the spur trail to Mt. Tom and enough snow pack to see above the trees for views of the southern presidentials. A nice day out but the going is tricky with sections of balance beam mono rail & many deep post hole on either side. Snow shoes will be needed when the rail softens more, but they are difficult now because of the super narrow rail.
