Parking/Access Road Notes: Easy to park for about 12 cars, maybe.

Surface Conditions: Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Ice - Breakable Crust, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable), Mud - Significant, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Unstable), Leaves - Significant/Slippery, Snow/Ice - Postholes, Slush, Snow/Ice - Small Patches

Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes, Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: A couple legit water crossings and a couple small streams. All passable with some careful rock hopping.  
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Couple blowdowns (one big felled tree nearing summit) that might surprise tall people. I'm 5'2" and slipped right under ;)

Lost and Found: There is a black thermos on the Mount Kinsman trail--on right side going up.

Comments: Beautiful view of Franconia Ridge on the outcropping just before North Kinsman's summit. Always entertaining to take photos in the rock chair on South Kinsman.
