Comments
Comments: Weather during my trip was low/mid-40s at summits, low/mid 60s at the lake. Trails were a soft monorail, breaking down under the warmth and sun. Postholed a lot. I had microspikes and it was very manageable, but snowshoes could have been helpful at points given how soft the snow was. Summits were bare rock and lovely.

Kinsman Pond trail had no monorail and was impassable in microspikes (snow was too soft and deep). I turned around after less than .1mi and went back to Fishin' Jimmy.

A couple platforms at Kinsman Pond shelter are clear of snow. The pond is partially thawed.
