Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: being stuck in a loaner car i opted not to drive to the height of land on robbins ridge road and fr354 and parked lower down to the south adding maybe 10 minutes each way. ultimately i could have easily driven all the way up as the road was in good condition if a little soft higher up.

Comments
Comments: i hiked up the road and turned onto fr354 which i followed a couple minutes to just past a log landing where i started the bushwhack up the east side of robbins ridge. most of the ascent was in hardwoods with deep leaf litter making the going slippery, especially descending. some steep and rocky pitches on the ascent going at robbins straight on and i shifted north a couple times onto more gradual pitches. some mixed woods and evergreens up around the summit and recognized highpoint. initially a sprucy descent towards major then wide open woods the rest of the way to the recognized highpoint. on the return i more or less held the same lines with some minor variations trying to remember how to navigate without snowshoe tracks to follow back down.
