Comments: Kinsman Ridge from Tram

sooo looking for some elevation and was clear until 2500 feet put on micros. Then the fun began. Old mono stable til 2700 ft. Fun begins and snow on the trenches trail gets deeper across the glades and beyond slow going expected but averaged 0.9 mph. After partner sank up to waist and daggling foot didn’t hit bottom called it turnaround time at 3275 ft. Mono was too unstable and collapsing into 3 to 4 feet of snow in the trench. Woods were clear btw just the trail. Poles saved us on way down. Not worth the battle Another day! Cannon wins.
