Comments
Comments: The monorail starts around 3500 feet and was stable on the ascent - slick and crumbly on the descent. We carried snowshoes just in case it warmed up and we started to sink but that never happened. Leaving Pierce we headed to Eisenhower and it warmed up a bit. After headed back down the cone we got to the junction of Eisenhower Loop/Crawford Path, I felt like more of an adventure so we took the Crawford Path skirting the cone of Ike. we took a bit of a beating from branches on a lightly used trail. Steep side hill and spruce traps, it's here that we think a snowshoe fell off my friends pack.
Older LL Bean tube frame grayish/blue single snowshoe. Please email if found.

Winds on Ike were 25-30 mph and less than a quarter mile visibility. Nice day outside.
