Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Water levels were higher than normal but all were manageable. Waterproof boots were helpful on a couple of crossings as water was just over some of the rocks.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Blowdowns on Whitin Brook Trail where the trail cuts away from Whitin Brook, but the open woods made it easy to go around them. There was another blowdown blocking the Lawrence Trail.

Bugs
Bugs: They were out down low but no bites.

Comments
Comments: Nice trip through the Eastern Sandwich Range. Trails were in pretty good shape and fairly easy to follow, considering some of them are unblazed. Route is mostly snow-free. There were short stretches (maybe 50 yards) of rotten snow below the Paugus summit on Lawrence Trail and Old Paugus Trail. Brook Trail from Bee Line was wet and very slippery. Had to bypass a couple of spots and did not want to try it on the way down, so stuck with Liberty for the descent.
