Comments
Comments: Tough river crossing on Greeley Pond Trail -water running high. Slowly increasing amounts of melting snow from trail split all the way up to the summit. Last mile or so melting unstable monorail and steep -making for a very slow and challenging climb and even more challenging descent. Had planned on adding Mt Osceola but added time and difficulty due to snow so had to back off. Light traction still recommended -a 2-3 week wait for the snow to melt would walk for a much more enjoyable hike. Pretty popular trail today in spite of the conditions
