Comments
Comments: Great hike for this time of year. Trail was almost completely dry and in good condition. The minimal mud and water on the trail was easy to navigate. There were a few active streams but not running that high, easy to cross including the larger brook. Black flies were thick at times but I didn't use insect repellent and they weren't biting me, just needed a bug net. Great views of the Sandwich range from the ledges and Mt Israel summit. Passed one other hiker the whole trip, pretty quiet for a weekend hike.
