Gate to Winslow State Park is open, a few cars in lot when I arrived at 10AM (on a Wednesday) |

A few blowdowns, though they seem as though they've been there a while. |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Sign near Alpine Bog to leash dogs to protect the bog. Saw a few very well-behaved puppers today. |

 | Bugs: |
Black flies for about the bottom third of the trails. Wore my bugnet and hat and was fine, but they swarmed whenever I stopped. |

 | Comments: |
Some mud, mostly avoidable. Even when not avoidable, it wasn't too deep. Gorgeous day, with great views at the top and a few other points along the way. Took Winslow up, Barlow down. Some water on granite slabs, but mostly avoidable. |
