| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There are a few significant blowdowns but are easy to detour around or step over. Blaises are nonexistent. I only saw one very faded blaise. It is very difficult to figure out the section between the cabin and the summit. There are multiple huge, muddy sections that could use rocks or logs for easier transit. Those sections with rock hoppable rocks or logs show less side trail erosion since people stay on the trail; those sections without them are showing every increasing signs of erosion and muddy areas as people walk outside of the trails. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Great dog hike! Lots of water so no need to carry any for your 4-legged companion. |

Not bad but came out more when I got back to the car |

| Comments: |
Lots of rain last night so wet, muddy trails. The trails are bare until shortly above 3500'. While solid, the monorail is inconsistent from there to the cabin, with lots of bare rocks. I was the only one using spikes. The trail from the cabin to the summit is a mess and hard to follow. I lost the trail at one point and relied on my GPS to get back on track. Spikes were needed/recommended from the cabin to the summit. |
