Comments
Comments: Perfect conditions for hiking today. The trail is in decent shape except for the blowdowns. There are lots to jump over or crawl under. The associated bent saplings are an annoyance because they are at face level.

I found myself bushwhacking quite a bit since the trail is not well marked (as advertised -- and I ended up off the trail) and the river has swallowed parts of it. There is no concern about getting lost since the river provides an ever-present directional cue, but the bushwhacking definitely slowed things down.

The river is running fast due to the combination of snowmelt and recent rain. So, the falls were really active. You could hear them from afar.

Wet leaves and mud provided for some slippery sections.

Significant snow remains and begins to be persistent at the Dry River Trail/Isolation trail junction. It was a very unstable monorail which was annoying to deal with. I assume it will be gone within a couple of weeks.

I posted some photos on Instagram -- link provided.
