I had time to kill and didn't want to waste the gorgeous day, so I hit Doubletop before heading back to Maine. Never done it, it was a pleasant little hike. The overlook on South Doubletop is really nice, I spent some time enjoying the sun there; was surprised to get visited by a hummingbird. Felt like a summer hike, can't wait for the warm weather. |
