Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Kept my feet dry over all crossings.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Some mud and sitting water especially beyond Round pond on the jeep road up to Mack as well as on the descent from Klem to Round Pond - but managed to keep dry feet the entire way.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Very dog friendly route - saw one other pup today. My dog loves this hike and enjoys the many places she can cool off or swim.

Comments
Comments: Great 6.5 mile out back/loop with plenty of spectacular views and limited climbing (only 1266 ft elev. total). We saw a nice healthy looking moose just after the turn onto Round Pond Trail from the Gilford East Trail. He or she checked us out for a minute and then leisurely trotted off in the opposite direction.
