| Comments: |
Many people out on the trails today. Lots of standing and running water of the trail. Rocks on the trail below tree line were very slippery. Summit of Chocorua was packed. Took a detour on the way down to hit First Sister and Middle Sister. Excellent views from both - Middle Sister should not be missed, with a cool abandoned base of a fire tower on the summit. Took another detour on the descent to see Pitcher and Champney Falls. Only one very small bit of monorail left that you can easily walk around. |
